Join us in celebrating Daniel O., a phenomenal sophomore from our Sandy Ridge campus, for his outstanding achievement! Daniel has been appointed to a two-year term on the Nevada Youth Legislature, where he'll represent Senate District No. 20.

 

The Nevada Youth Legislature (NYL) is an incredible program that empowers high school students to dive into the world of representative government. Through NYL, students get to present one bill per term to the Nevada Legislature, advocating for issues that matter to our state's youth.

 

Established in 2007 by Senate Bill 247, NYL aims to give students a voice in Nevada's policy-making process. We are incredibly proud of Daniel due to his dedication and passion for representing our community.
