FALCONS SOAR TO EXCELLENCE!
3 students from CASLV Sandy Ridge Julie J Kim, Grace H Kim, and Isabella Pedroza receive National Awards given by Innerview.
3 students from our campus, Julie J Kim, Grace H Kim, and Isabella Pedroza received National Awards given by InnerView, “the leading youth platform to help students, groups, and schools highlight community service impact, passion for causes, and connect local effort to the UN Global Goals.”1 Our students were recognized for their service and commitment, and continue inspiring us.
While fulfilling the community service requirement set by our school, these outstanding students made sure their voluntary work had a global impact. In total, they have reached hundreds of hours of community service in the 2022-2023 academic year. Their work was inspired by the 17 Global Goals designated by the UN and aims for a better world with peace and prosperity. They invested most of their service in realizing Sustainable Development Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages. Their services jointly amount to $7,325 regarding their community impact value!
We congratulate our students for their commitment and success. As they go on to become global citizens their sense of responsibility sets a precedent for us, making us more and more excited about the future they will build.
