Sandy Ridge students attended the IMPAC Campaign School!
Organized by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce.
Exciting News!
Last Friday, October 6th, four of our incredible students had the unique opportunity to dive into the world of local politics and public service. They attended the IMPAC Campaign School organized by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce.
At IMPAC Campaign School, our students had the privilege of listening to elected public officials share their invaluable experiences, career journeys, and paths to office.
As IMPAC aptly describes, "Campaign School is a half-day program designed for individuals like you who are interested in serving their community, whether it's on local boards and commissions, city council, county commission, or even at the legislative level. This unique event equips you with the knowledge, skills, and insights needed to become a successful candidate or a well-informed campaign volunteer."
Our students had the honor of learning from some distinguished leaders, including:
 Stavros Anthony, Nevada Lieutenant Governor
Francisco V. Aguilar, Nevada Secretary of State
Mayor Michelle Romero, City of Henderson
Councilman Jim Seebock, City of Henderson & IMPAC Campaign School Alumni
We’d like to thank Henderson Chamber of Commerce and the sponsors of this event for making this possible and inviting us. Thanks to them, our students had an invaluable experience that contributed to their growth as responsible citizens and future leaders.
