We are thrilled to announce that our Sandy Ridge students have achieved great success in the SR-A STEM program!
Our students were challenged to explain a complex mathematical concept through video creation, and three teams were created to compete in a nationwide competition. We are proud to say that one of our teams received a Semifinalist award, placing them among the top 12 teams in the country out of over 200 competitors.
As semifinalists, our team received recognition on the MATHCOUNTS website and social media channels, along with printed Certificates of Achievement and a $20 Amazon gift card for each of the 4 team members and Team Advisor.
Congratulations to our talented students Ty T., Rowan F., Kyra L., and Stephanie L. for their exceptional work and dedication to their craft. We can't wait to see what great accomplishments they will achieve in the future!
